Station House Warkworth
Project Type: Planning and listed building
Client: Private
Location: Warkworth, Northumberland
Planning permission and listed building consent has been granted for our client to refurbish, modernise, alter and extend an existing dwelling which was once utilised as a railway station. The site is located in open countryside and adjoins the East Coast Main Railway Line. The proposals included reinstating a large outbuilding to provide an additional annex.
JT Planning were appointed to collate and lodge a planning application and listed building consent working alongside a team of Consultants including THAA Architects, Ecologist and a specialist Heritage Consultant to help advise on the Grade II listed status of the former station building.
Consent was secured for all works and subsequent minor amendments have been lodged and approved by the council.
